We @Nisargamitra Panvel invite you for a one day Trek to Matheran Via One Tree Hill - Rambaug Point on 9th September 2018 (Sunday).

The one tree hill is unique as there is only 1 tree standing on this peak for years. It is wonderful place is a must visit place in Matheran in Monsoon, one can have a glimpse of Garbett point and other scenic beauty of Matheran.
Rambaug Point offers the best view of the eastern hills from Matheran. It falls on the way to One Tree Hill Point from Matheran market. One of the most famous picnic spots in the region, the point is adorned with pleasant environment. It is a perfect place to watch the sunset. From the Rambaug Point one can also get the majestic views of the hills, Karjat Town, Garbut Point and Khandala Town. Owing to peaceful atmosphere under the dense cover of groves, the location is visited by solitude seekers.
Route: Ambewadi- One Tree Hill- Big Chowk Point- Little Chowk Point- Rambaug Point - Burujwadi.
Meeting point: 06:15 a.m. Panvel Bus Stand

- Full sleeves clothes (Half, shorts, sleeveless clothes are strictly prohibited)
- Water 2L (Must) (Bisleri bottles are strictly prohibited)
- Rain Cheater (Jacket)
- Extra Pair of cloths, Towel, napkin,socks.
- Small Sack to put all these things
- Personal Medicines (If Any)
--> Carry valuables like Cellphones, Camera at your own risk.
--> Please make sure the cups and plates you carry for tea, lunch etc., are made from sustainable resources and which would ensure minimum amount of trash creation. We take pride in the fact that when in wilderness, we try to ensure to leave behind just our footprints! We are an organization that is not just into trekking, but cultivating minds to build a ecologically sustainable lifestyle. We try to create awareness towards nature and our forest ecosystem amongst all individuals that give us the privilege of take them out to the mountains. As a part of our green planet efforts, we discourage the use of ‘use and throw’ cups, plates. It is a long journey, but atleast let us all embark on a JOURNEY TOWARDS ZERO GARBAGE. As they say, every positive starts from self!
Please try to carry steel cups, plates, spoons which you can take back home post your trek. Also if you carrying any snacks, please make sure they have minimum wrapping and that you carry all the trash you created, back with you.
